April Fools

We’re excited to announce that cSocially has acquired Amazon, Goodreads, and Tumblr! Wait, what? It’s April Fools Day? Of course it is, and we’re not the only ones on the lookout for mischief and chicanery.

Google announced yesterday that YouTube will shut down, as it’s been an 8 year contest and is about to pick a winner.

YouTube will announce nominees for best video in a livestream starting at noon ET on today. Of course, the winner won’t be announced until YouTube goes back online, you know, in 2023. The good news for the winner: when the site comes back, it will only be broadcasting them.

Twitter joined in on the fun and made the announcement that it was adopting a two-tiered system, choosing only consonants for the new plan, Twttr.

The first tweet? “Trd th nw Twttr yt? Mr tm fr mr twts!” In Twttr speak this translates to: Tried the new Twttr yet? More time for more tweets!
